Presidential Internship in Higher Education
The Presidential Internship in Higher Education seeks a diverse cohort of students to work with the President's staff in the following offices:
- President's Office
- Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
- Vice President for Student Affairs
- Vice President for Institutional Advancement
- Special Assistant to the President/Secretary to the University
The internship is a paid position* requiring:
- Sophomore, junior or senior standing
- Minimum 24 semester hours as a University of Utah student
- Minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA
- Commitment for academic year (August 2008 - May 2009)
- Time commitment of 12-15 hours per week
- Weekly seminar with University and community leaders
- An interest in higher education, the University of Utah
- Commitment to University-related, service-oriented work
