Presidential Internship in Higher Education
The Presidential Internship in Higher Education program is looking for a small, diverse group of individuals who will represent the University of Utah well among its constituents, are interested in learning more about higher education issues and challenges in the state and nation, are committed to serving the University community, and will contribute in the administrative offices where they are assigned.
The internship is a paid position requiring:
- At least sophomore standing by the end of Spring Semester 2009
- Completion of at least one academic year at the University of Utah
- Minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA
- Academic-year-long commitment: August 2009 to May 2010
- Time commitment of 10-12 hours per week
- Weekly seminars with University and community leaders
- Experience working as a member of a group to meet specified goals
